Titan Dominatus
From RelicWiki
Titan Dominatus is an Emperor-class Titan that was defeated, but not completely destroyed, when the forces of Chaos conquered Lorn V (and apparently forgotten afterwords), which serves as the main point of the Winter Assault expansion. General Sturnn was sent to Lorn V to repair and retrieve the Titan, but Farseer Taldeer also came to the planet with the intent of using it as a conduit for her soulstone that was planned to use against the Necrons. In the Disorder campaign, Lord Crull and Warlord Gorgutz start of unaware of the Titan's existence until Crull learns from a captured Guardsmen. Crull intended to have his sorcerers summon daemons to possess the Titan so that he could use it to wreck havoc across the galaxy, while Gorgutz planned to destroy the Titan since he knew he couldn't use it.
Titan Dominatus appears in the level for each campaign, most buried underground except for its main gun, parts of its torso and head. Most of the Titan is simply scenery, the only part that can be attacked are its secondary guns. Part of the mission is to gain enough power to activate it (except as the Orks). As the Imperial Guard, this is done by constructing a number of thermo plasma generators, and the Forces of Chaos summon daemons to possess it. Once this is accomplished, the player gains control of Titan Dominatus' secondary guns, which are extremely long ranged and can destroy the Monoliths encountered in the level in 2 hits. The Eldar, however have capture the secondary guns on the Titan to use them.
In the Imperial Guard ending, after defeating the Necrons, Sturnn calls in the excavation crew to dig up the Titan for further use. In the Eldar ending, Taldeer use the titan and the soulstone to destroy the Necrons, which in the process causes the Titan to malfunction and explode after she leaves Lorn V. In the Chaos ending, Crull has the Titan possessed and intends to use to launch a bloody campaign across the galaxy. In the Ork ending, Gorgutz abandons the Titan after he defeats the Necrons and kills Crull. Dialogue in Dark Crusade indicates that the Eldar ending was canonical.
