Horror Squad
Horror Squads are Tzeentchian warp-spawned daemons that can immolate enemy units with daemonic fire. They are especially suited to destroying enemy heavy armour. They are resilient units, summoned into battle to surprise the enemy.
Tactics
Horrors do have advantages over other anti-vehicle infantry units other races can field. Horrors each have a large amount of hitpoints. In addition, their ranged attacks are amongst the most powerful against vehicle armour. Best of all, Horrors can be Deep Struck to exactly the location they are needed (provided vision of the location is available).
Chaos users are placed in a difficult position when it comes to addressing vehicle threats. They can either follow the Machine Pit path and produce vehicles of their own or can produce Horrors. The advantage of vehicles is they can be used against infantry as well as other vehicles. However, vehicles are costly and they slow the Chaos army's advance into Tier 3. In addition, if Chaos vehicles are produced and are matched by the opposing race, the Chaos army may be left in a compromised position as its initial set of vehicles tend to be more costly and less effective than the vehicle specialists other races can field at the same time. Horrors on the other hand will allow a faster advance to the Tier 3 stage for the Chaos army but overall can only initially be used for defence against vehicles. Moreover Horrors will typically perform poorly against infantry. When their morale is broken, they don't suffer an accuracy penalty but rather receive more damage and are thus destroyed with greater haste.
