Greater Summoning Core
More powerful troops require a more powerful nexus to revive them without damage, thus the need for the Greater Summoning Core. It allows for the production of Tomb Spyders, Destroyers, and the final upgrade for Necron Warriors.
Tactics
The Greater Summoning Core should be built as soon as the Necron player has built an Awakened Monolith. The beginning stage of the Necron Tier 2 is fairly weak compared to other races' Tier 2, requiring Necrons to move quickly to catch up.
Make sure to keep this building protected. Losing it will prevent the construction of Tomb Spyders and Destroyers, both of which are essential units in Tier 3 and Tier 4.
