Webway Gate
The field Webway Gates mimic the massive Eldar Webway. The field webways act as a tunnel, transporting troops between positions. Webway Gates are also able to shroud themselves from the visual plane, hiding surrounding buildings in the process. This allows Eldar troops to ferry between points, relocating bases and most deadly, ambushing enemy units.
Tactics
The primary purpose of building Webway Gates is to increase squad and vehicle cap and expand the area where buildings can be placed. The more subtle uses of Webway Gates are to infiltrate surrounding buildings, transport troops (infantry only), and relocate buildings. Build Webway Gates in allied bases, near relics, critical locations, or other important areas to ensure quick access.
A commonly used offensive strategy is to place Webway Gates in a secluded location near the enemy base. This allows for constant hit and run attacks on the enemy base. Support Platforms can also be teleported to the Webway Gate, providing a hail of firepower on the enemy's base without needing to commit any troops. Sometimes a rush is needed as a diversion to allow the gate to be set up and infiltrated.
Another useful tactic is to relocate your base following a failed enemy attack. Leave superficial defenses (and maybe an Aspect Portal to make it more convincing) to fool the enemy into thinking it is still the base and commit his entire force. This allows you to attack his unprotected base as the enemy thinks he can win by destroying your "base" first.
Because units in the Webway Gate retain the effects of any auras they were under as they entered, the Healing Waystation aura is especially useful. Because it's impossible for Eldar infantry to NOT be under the aura to reach the Webway Gate, they will always heal at quadruple their normal healing rate while in the Webway Gate.
