Rhino
"Take refuge within our armor."
The Rhino is the primary armoured personnel carrier used by Space Marine forces. Tough, durable and relatively simple to maintain and repair it has become a mainstay of many other fighting forces across the Imperium as well, such as the Inquisition, Adeptus Arbites and Adepta Sororitas (Sisters of Battle).
Tactics
Unlike many other transport vehicles in DoW the Rhino is completely unarmed, relegating it to transport duty, and transport duty only. In this area it performs very well as it's fast to build, cheap and takes up no Vehicle Cap. If you have the resources and time to build Rhinos, there is no excuse not to.
Since the loading/unloading mechanic was fixed and streamlined with the release of Dark Crusade, transport vehicles have found much more use. Moving two Space Marine Squads by foot takes time, not only because they're slower but also because of pathing issues. However, pop them into a Rhino and you can zip them across the map with surprising speed, making it easy to redeploy your forces in case of an unexpected attack or to keep your opponent off balance by constantly changing attack vector. Units which have been deployed from a Rhino need no setup time if they were already setup upon entering the transport, which allows instantaneous use of Heavy Bolters and Missile Launchers.
The Smoke Launchers are also an ability that might easily be overlooked, but it basically doubles your unit's durability for 30 seconds, which might buy you enough time to get reinforcements to the battle zone.
