Shuriken Grav Platform
The Shuriken Grav Platform is built upon the basic Eldar weapon platform design, which is often used in a supportive role.
Note: The Grav Platform can only be repaired by one Bonesinger at a time (they are not repairable in Dark Crusade).
Tactics
Shuriken Grav Platforms are basically mobile turrets that fulfill an anti-infantry role. At the cost of only 1 vehicle cap, Grav Platforms can be used to fill up any excess cap left over after Fire Prisms and Wraithlords are built.
Although the damage of the Shuriken Cannon is not very impressive for a T3 unit, it's "suppressive fire" feature is especially helpful when facing a melee heavy army. The 25% reduction in enemy movement speed is great for giving other Eldar troops the time to do more damage at range. Also note that the damage is spread out over an area, meaning that the DPS should be multiplied by the number of enemies hit. With a radius of 4, about half of a standing squad can be taking damage which makes the DPS numbers below a rather large understatement. This also has the added bonus that 1 Grav Platform can actually reduce the movement of more than one squad at a time.
Further tactics may include using 1 or 2 with your main force, while have the last one ready to intercept retreating troops from behind, making running down the retreating enemy much easier. Remember though, that Grav Platforms cannot fire on the move, so set them up beforehand to get the most out of them.
