Energy Core
The most advanced Necron computers are stored within this structure, allowing for the proper resurrection of the most powerful Necron weapons and equipment. With the proper enhancements, it can even channel the power of the Star Gods themselves. Its computational power is such that it can maintain the entire Necron infrastructure without a Monolith present, finally allowing the Restored Monolith to leave the base and join the fight itself.
Tactics
This building is required in order to build the most advanced Necron Units. Heavy Destroyers, and Lord Destroyers can be built once this building is constructed. Also, the research for Essence of the Nightbringer for the Necron Lord is available at this building.
It has a high power cost and the degree of usefulness of the units this building makes available are up for dispute. The Essence of the Nightbringer has semi-limited use in multiplayer as well since it can only attack one target at a time. While useful for ridding the Necrons of an elite unit threat, or destroying key targets late game, the overall power cost is debatable unless you're teching for a Restored Monolith. In 1v1 multiplayer, it is sometimes better to stay in tier 3 rather than tech up to 3.5 since Pariahs and Immortals can do just as much, if not more, than the Heavy Destroyer or the Lord Destroyer. This building is better used to its fullest extent in games of 2v2 or higher.
