Tactics
The objective of an Assassinate game is to kill your opponent's commander while keeping your commander alive.
A typical tactic is to hide your commander inside a building or a transport vehicle. This tactic trades the commander's considerable fighting ability for safety. The most effective unit against a commander (on a one-one-one basis) is usually another commander. This tactic is considerably more potent as the Tau who possess an infiltratable transport unit, or the Eldar who have transport vehicles with jump capacity - or indeed their infiltrated webway network.
Commanders
The following is a list of each commander given at the start of a game with the Assassinate victory condition.
Space Marines
Chaos
Eldar
Orks
Imperial Guard
Tau
Necrons
Dark Eldar
Sisters of Battle
